Review of Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) by Udaybhanu S — 14 Jul 2018
The Marvel Cinematic Universe fetches yet another greatly directed cinematic piece of art.
Like 2015's 'Ant Man', this film too possesses a low scale plot, featuring one of my favorite characters, portrayed through splendid acting by all the actors.
The first twenty to twenty five minutes are a bit dry and boring, but the time is made up for beyond expectations by the climax.
Unlike some other Marvel picks, the film isn't flooded with jokes and the comedy is on point, not snatching away the valuable moments of the movie.
Another aspect that was truly impressive was the Visual Effects. Marvel hasn't been the absolute best on the special visual effects since many years, but even the most bizarre concepts like 'The Quantum Realm' was painted very well by the VFX team of 'Ant Man And The Wasp'.
The story is very compelling and keeps you glued on the screen constantly, but as I said before, the frames aren't nerve thrashing and deliver one of the best action in a really chilled out manner.
I personally loved the ending of the movie and would strongly insist upon staying in the hall for the credit scenes as well.
