Review of Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) by Dj L — 05 Jul 2018
Ant Man and the Wasp was a fun film that ultimately was very forgettable and disposable. The performances were all great but most of the characters do not develop in this movie, even the ones from the previous film, making this movie feel inconsequential.
The editing also feels very quick and rushed, breezing pass comedic moments and small sequences making the movie hard to grasp and get connected to. Also, for those looking forward to seeing the quantum realm, you see it, but it mainly works to serve the plot and doesn't have much depth or information behind it leaving everything involved with that plot line un-engaging.
Still, the film has great performances especially from Paul Rudd and some fun action sequences with nothing truly offending the audience. It's just a very inconsequential film.
