"Antman and The Wasp" is full of imaginative action sequences around its central premise of a superhero that shrinks down to the size of an ant with crazy strength, but the movie is not of an immense hero vs villain scale.

Rather it is a more personal superhero story about family andteamwork. Paul Rudd is very likeable and it is family-friendly and easy-going, which also makes it an easy watch. And as it's mostly self-contained, you can watch it in isolation of the other Marvel movies, though knowing the plot of its predecessor "Antman" is advisable.
