Review of Ant-Man (2015) by Hungry T — 20 May 2016

Crazy-stupid in principle, fine in execution. Looks like Marvel's in the process of perfecting this formula. "Ant-Man" shows how far you can get with some superb casting and a smart script.

There's a good pace and a lot of fail-proof humor. The villain is detestable, the hero likable - like they should. All this is backed by rock solid visuals. It can feel a bit formulaic at times but ultimately wins you over.

And Micheal Douglas steals every scene he's in.
