Review of Ant-Man (2015) by Arthur B — 18 Dec 2017
Raul Rudd as Ant-Man was so hilarious, was not expecting this movie to perform as well as it did. It felt more like a heist film and less like a superhero film. The movie manages to make you feel very sympathetic for Hank Pym, who lost his wife years ago and has a strong hatred for Howard Stark.
It's loaded with humor and in typical MCU fashion, a tacked-on and underwhelming villain. This movie made me even more excited to see Paul Rudd again in a future MCU installment as Ant-Man. The fight scene between Ant-Man and Falcon was so well-done and honestly the best part of the film.
I roared with excitement when the post-credits scene featured a scene from Captain America: Civil War.
