Review of Ant-Man (2015) by Ardania22 — 17 Jul 2015
Ant-Man's wisest move is recognizing its size. It's not trying to be a massive event like the Avengers, it's just a fun, breezy action/heist romp that's impossible not to enjoy. Excellent work from the cast (especially Evangeline Lilly), clever use of special effects, and a slew of screwball gags and one-liners that all hit the bulls-eye.
The dramatic moments don't work as well due to poor pacing, but the likability of the cast usually manages to save them. Another fine piece of cinematic entertainment from Marvel.
