Review of Ant-Man (2015) by Ethan E — 31 Jan 2016
Like many of its contemporaries, this film suffers most from its over-polished production. It promises to entertain, but will almost never surprise, due to a heavily formulaic and boilerplate approach to storytelling.
It's good, but not great, as with every Marvel movie to date. By that virtue, it is every bit the calculated success it was manufactured to be.
