Review of Another Year (2010) by James K — 28 Jul 2011
Peripheral to the worthwhile themes of growing older and maintaining stability in a world rife with the ruins of time and ordinary human struggles endemic to our existence stands a cutting performance by Lesley Manville that is as raw and bold as any I have ever seen.
If I had any say in the matter, and the fact I don't scarcely limits my right to say it, it should be studied by any learning actor as a textbook performance.
