Review of Another Woman (1988) by Rick L — 10 Jan 2007
Wonderful & contemplative film that reads like a long introspective poem. Gena Rowlands was sublime in this role. It's a movie that will stay with you for days after you have seen it. One of the last lines of this film had me chewing on it for days.
."are our memories really something we keep...or something we have lost?" One other note - I disagree highly with a few that said if you liked Woody Allen's 'Sleeper' or 'Broadway Danny Rose' type films - you won't like this one.
Not true at ALL (sez this Woody Allen fan)...I'll take any flavor of Woody he is serving up - and I am never disappointed.
