Review of Another Stakeout (1993) by Alex R — 03 Jul 2012
A poorly made sequel, Another Stakeout is not a good film. I really didn't enjoy this film, and thought it was a sloppy action comedy with a fairly forgettable plot. The cast is pretty bad, and I'm not even sure why Rosie O'Donnell is in this, she can't even act, and she's not funny whatsoever.
Another Stakeout fails in terms of a buddy cop comedy, and the chemistry between the three actors simply doesn't work this is a sloppily made film that doesn't do anything to entertain you. I like to watch something fun, but this film was more annoying.
I felt the filmmakers failed to make a good film, and it just didn't have anything special about it. There's not one cast member that was good here, and they were just bland on-screen. This is a mediocre film, one that is not worth your time, and it could have been much better.
As it stands, this is a flawed film that doesn't possess any funny parts. The film's cast bring it down, and as a whole it is a forgettable film that really isn't entertain. This film feels rushed, and it seems like the director really didn't care about the end result of his film.
I think with a better cast, a better script and better director, this film might have been better than what it turned out to be. This film could have been much better, and it's a shame it wasn't.
Mediocre to say the least, Another Stakeout is not really worth watching.
