Seems more like a work intended to fill the "wedding-centered family drama" slot, then an exploration of some particular aspect of family dynamics that the filmmakers just had to share with us.

Which, in my experience, will always take a film down a notch or two. But if you're in the mood for a bite-sized, high-caliber little soap opera - then this is a good choice. It's no "Rachel Getting Married", but it didn't make me throw up in my mouth either.
