It is a ridiculous movie... just like they meant it to be. For the people saying "cliched and predictable"... no kidding. It's a spoof--they don't break new ground; they make fun of cliche and predicability.

This movie was a lot of fun to watch. With equal parts hilarious scenes and cringe inducing scenes, it seems to me that the directors made the exact movie they were aiming for. I've watched it quite a few times since it came out and still enjoy it.

The sequel, however, is another story...
