Review of Another Earth (2011) by Iris F — 07 Jan 2012
Kind of silent, slow, intense movie whose basic premise is sci-fi, but it rises above the 'sci-fi'-ness to be a soft, poetic, philosophical movie. Tight camera intensifies the scenes, at the same time loves the dust particles at first daylight.
Several laws of elementary physics are broken, but the plot, presentation and Marling are good enough to forget the technical flaws.
