Another Earth reminded me, in a way, of The Tree of Life. It was pretty, it was well acted, but you had no idea what was going on throughout most of the movie. Unlike Tree of Life, however, I was quite satisfied with Another Earth's ending.
It was a sensible conclusion that made sense of the rest of the movie.
