A clever and original 'indie' sci-fi movie, that is much more personal drama than actual sci-fi. I enjoyed the premise, even if parts of this movie veer toward the queasy at times, wondering how you would handle a similar situation as a parent.
this had several spine tingling moments (a sign the movie was doing something right), mainly due to some old school direction, more so than fancy effects. one minor quibble is that the star (brit marling) is almost distractingly good looking at times throughout this movie.
