Review of Another Earth (2011) by Elias H — 27 Apr 2013

I know that the whole another earth thing was supposed to be a metaphor, and it was probably a pretty good one, but I just couldn't figure it out and it didn't hit me as hard as it should have.

Another Earth is an extremely dramatic film that at times can be a little over the top. That's the problem I had with this movie, they really shove this emotional stuff down your throat and it seems a bit lazy and so forced. That's just one complaint, this movie can still stand as a good, heartfelt, and thought-provoking drama that has some pretty good acting. I do like this movie, although I didn't quite get the whole inner meaning to it all.
