I wanted to like it so bad, and the image of earth in the sky was quite striking, but it got too caught up in its own ideas, oozing pretentiousness, and I'm sorry to say William Mapother's acting got to me in the more serious scenes.
Came off cornier than it was supposed to be. Great ending, though.
