Review of Another Day in Paradise (1998) by Patrick P — 05 Jul 2008
James Woods and Melanie Griffith play junkies on the run from the law in a well played flick about the impact of such a culture (junky) on youth, and most importantly, it shows the capacity for humanity in the most of hapless of characters.
I love this movie. My only real complaint is the cinematography. It suffers from poor lighting and being comprised of mostly static shots. Don't get me wrong, I love what a static shot can convey, but for a film with the pacing it has, a little bit more variety would've made this film so much more.
