Review of Another Country (1984) by Penelope B — 26 May 2007
This film contains some fantastic acting especially by Rupert Everett and Colin Firth. The latter being so young I had to look twice to make sure it really was him. Both were truly born for such roles. Public School life in England in the 30s. So often we talk about "how the other half live" but I think we know little about how happy they are with the way they live.
If you are interested in the lives of the children of British Aristocracy and especially for those of you who think a real Oxford English accent is sexy then I recommend you watch this film. Lessons can certainly be learned between the lines too.
