Review of Another Cinderella Story (2008) by Breanna S — 28 Aug 2009

Selena Gomez plays an absolute awesome part as "Cinderella" losing her mp3 player in stead of a glass shoe . I did think at the beginning.. wow she is like the youngest girl in the entire cast, but she plays a wonderfull part as Mary and I absolutely fell in love with her dancing!

I also liked the stepsisters.. Especially Bree, becuase she's such a weird person hahaa! Her with her weird face and the braces.

Loved the part in the end when the mean girl Natalia goes and throes a fit and then compliments Mary on her dancing.. I was like WOW they managed to surprise me in a movie were all the components are pre-designed!

I mean there is the nice girl who gets a horrible treatment by her stepmother and sisters who are, of course, not even close to looking as pretty as the leading girl.

There is obviously the handsome guy/prince figure with his best buddy to help him along and of course the best friend of the leading lady to drag her through all the horrors the stepfamily can throw at her.

And then there is the long awaited ball, wich Cinderella isn't supposed to go to but does, she has to lose something there while making a good impresion on the prince, after wich the prince will fall madly in love with the Cinderella and he will try and find her among a truck load of girls who are dying to even touch him.

So yeah.. happily surprised!

Euhm further the story has a good rythm... it keeps up a nice pace... not to fast not to slow.. at some moments faster then others but it helps the story along.

It really is a feel good movie, so if you are ever in a pinch about a girlsnight indoors and want to serve a sweet movie that has loads of good music in it... this is it!
