Review of Another 48 Hrs. (1990) by Kevin H — 02 Apr 2009
A good sequel to the original, Another 48 Hrs. suffers only from the repetition of jokes used in the first film. With another great outing from Nolte and Murphy and some excellent acting work from Andrew Divoff, Brion James and Ed O'Ross coupled with the always reliable direction of Walter Hill, this is one sequel that truly lives up to the original.
More explosions, car wrecks (including a bus flipping over 18 times) and more shootouts, this film packs a real punch and doesn't let up until the end.
