Review of Anonymous (2011) by Brett S — 28 Nov 2011
Over long, over ridiculous, pantomime-esque crazy tale surrounds the idea that Shakespeare was just a front figure for an Earl's literature works.
Amidst lovely castle and town backdrops (CGI) a varying cast (mostly awful) deliver a controversial film (in regards to taste and decency) subject. It is uneasily entertaining but bafflingly poor, sure to offend Shakespeare fans and movie fans alike.
