Review of Anonymous (2011) by Ron G — 25 Apr 2012
The story revolves around the premise that Shakespeare never wrote any of his plays, poems or sonnets but, were penned instead by Edward de Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford. Overall, the story is intriguing and believable.
It is fictional, with a few facts here and there which only those familiar with English history can spot. Acting and production design were good. I thought the film would be boring, but it kept me entertained for 2 hours.
