Review of Anonymous (2011) by Ben L — 17 Nov 2012

Anonymous has solid acting, thanks to a great cast, and stunning visuals and set design, but the plot is extremely confusing and I quickly lost track of most of the characters that were introduced. The main draw of the movie - the theory that Shakespeare was a fraud - isn't really convincing either, and by the end of it all, I simply didn't care.

Not a terrible movie, but nowhere near a great one either.
