I adore Charlie Kaufman, and he is my favorite screenwriter. However I spent a lot of money seeing this film at a film festival and it's subsequent party. The film pretty much ruined of the party afterward.
It was depressing, mundane, boring, and just plain sucked. The novelty of the puppets were off within the first 30 minutes. I understood the premise behind using mostly male voices for the entire feature, but the feminist inside me was steaming that there weren't more female roles.
The plot was awful. I was basically crawling out of my skin with boredom me entire time. I want my entire evening back. I completely disagree with the critics, don't go see this film. Charlie Kaufman I love you but you let me down.
