Anomalisa is conceptually interesting and speaks volumes on a human level about the tediums of life and people. Combine this with being an R-rated stop motion animated film written by the great Charlie Kaufman and you should get an adult film-lover's treat.

Instead, the film is a few dull, short events comprising just one and a half hours and leaves so much to be desired.
