Review of Annihilation (2018) by James S — 30 May 2018
This movie has some very subliminal suggestive content in it. Depending on who you are and how you perceive things. It even has during a part of the movie a procedure of Satanist. I do not belong to any church or statistic following, but I am well in perceiving things.
The suggestive content builds into a hidden thought actually played into the movie intentionally; a procedure you can only find if you peruse that other side. Much like the movie Moses it has some disturbing religious, and quite deliberate suggestion against common belief, in a teaching type of way.
Just when our youth are moving away from the lies and propaganda we have known to be reality, and searching for a truth, in a good way, things like this and the movie Moses, who proposes Jesus to not be born, or existent.
Is not a good thing. Not really the right direction you would want to fall down if there was a rabbit hole. It could potentially effect any unsuspecting mind or developing mind. I feel that a Horror/Paranormal flic should not be combined with a Suspense/Thriller flic without it finding its own genera.
This movie is made to make you think, and maybe it has made me think in such way, but I have my concerns about the public's safety in different views than; such others. Not even if it has a flashy Crowe or Portman in it.
