Although the plot is not a bad one holywood seems to enjoy putting characters where did dont belong, for if you were to hire soldiers and scientist to enter such a dangerous zone they wouldnt be self centered unprofessional loser who offer absolutely nothign to the plot and are mentally ill euiped for such perilous adventure.
