Review of Annihilation (2018) by Iamtrina — 28 Feb 2018
Pros: Interesting. Different. "Cool." Some pretty scary intense scenes/creatures and weird sounds. Great special effects. Good acting. Memorable. Cons: A little slow at times, but that should be expected for the plot. Got better (faster and more action/drama) in the middle to end of movie. Could have more sound in these slow places. Only a couple things not explained. Maybe these things are in the book. Neither pro nor con: a few gory and bloody scenes (well done).
All in all the mesmerizing parts will stay with me. I would have given it an 8.5, so I rounded up to a 9.
