Review of Annie Hall (1977) by Diane H — 23 Apr 2013
The message of this intelligent and very funny film is that love is absurd, frustrating, and heartbreaking, but, without it, life is empty. I liked the non-linear story and the wonderful way it was told with fantasy and exaggerated memories.
I've seen a lot of films, but this is my favorite film of all time. I've watched it about ten times. Every time I watched it, I laughed all the way through -- until the end, at which point I cried.
.. every time.
