Review of Annie Hall (1977) by Javier M — 17 Dec 2013
Woody Allen is amazing. Not only is this script intelligent and charming and full of some recurring themes in all of Allen's films like nostalgia, Annie Hall is sweet and very clever with great asides of Allen speaking to the audience.
The performances were also exceptional, Diane Keating as the ditsy and eponymous Annie Hall and Allen stands out in the lead role of nervous, cautious comic Alvy Singer. I have seen two films of Allen's and so far I'm very impressed with what I've seen.
