Surprisingly unlikeable musical features the grating Betty Hutton as Annie Oakley. Hutton is 100% unbelievable as Oakley, because she's too goofy and lip syncs badly. Would have loved to see Ethel Merman in this role instead.
Howard Keel just coasts along on his personality, and there are some good songs. Mostly forgettable though,.
