Refreshingly light-hearted and sincere. A fun performance, propelled by a talented cast, coupled with a fun twist on the classic songs. The choreography and music build a fulfilling framework for a heartwarming story on the search for that which is most important in life. Overall engaging and entertaining.

Sometimes I wonder if the professional critics have a list of criteria by which all movies are judged, and if a performance doesn't fit within that framework, it is met not only with disapproval, but also scorn. I obviously can't speak for the critics, as I'm not privy to their exclusive taxonomic code. I can only speak from the view of of a casual audience, and as such my simple conclusion is that I was both uplifted as well as entertained. I would certainly recommend the movie.
