It was fine. I liked the humor and story, the singing was a little much at times, but it was still a solidly good comedy. I have however never seen the original, or any stage version and that seems to be what most people complaining about are comparing it to past versions they already saw.
If you have never seen any version of Annie, you might just enjoy it. (It was way better than what I read from critics etc.
