I give props to Carol Burnett for making Ms. Hannigon her own but it all just didn't work. Annie is supposed to be a happy cheery musical but this is just a dark and yerrible Annie. I will say that I also like Albert Finney as Daddy Warbucks because he made the character feel like a very changed person at the end unlike the modern version.
The girl that played Annie was annoying and awful and "We Got Annie" and "Let's Go to the Movies" are probably the 2 worst musical movie moments of all time.
