Review of Anne of Green Gables (1985) by Penny H — 14 Nov 2007

This is a movie I've always loved since my early teens and still love it into adult years. Its that kind of movie that never dates and will always remain a timeless classic (including the books) ... All the characters/settings are just gorgeous!

I remember when I was younger, I had a big crush on Gilbert LOL ;) .. Oh and that scene where Gilbert pulls one of Anne's plaits and calls her "Carrots" in class (cos of her red hair). Then Anne looses her temper and breaks her blackboard slate over Gilbert's head was always my favorite scene. I use to love to rewind that part and watch it over 'n' over! LOL.
