Review of Annabelle: Creation (2017) by Ming Siu G — 14 Aug 2017
There's some strange story logic going on here, but the craftsmanship is strong and the tension effective. Pity the ending, while still tense, becomes quite nonsensical in its throw-everything-at-the-wall desperation.
Demons should really never be seen, since they immediately become non-scary that way. Oh, and can we just STOP with the universe-building franchises already? It's beginning to just look plain stupid (and greedy).
