Usually when I go to see a movie like this I can suspend my disbelief. I mean that's the whole point right? When you find yourself in the middle of a movie questioning everything they're doing, questioning everything they've done, you know you're watching a stinker.
The reliance upon cheap scares and mood music is another giveaway.
