Annabelle Creation is by far better than the first 'Annabelle' movie but, it is still not to the standard of the conjuring movies and therefore you should watch Annabelle Creation without associating it with the conjuring movies or else you might be disappointed.
There are a few cliché's in this movie but there are a few original ideas as well. Would definitely recommend.
