Review of Annabelle: Creation (2017) by Karly D — 09 Aug 2017
Was it a perfect movie? No. Did it deliver with screams? Most people in theatre 3 at the AMC 7 would agree. Annabelle:Creation is not The Exorcist, Rosemary's baby or any other classic horror film.
In fact, Annabelle is another forgettable movie that in the future will only see the light of day on Halloween or slumber parties- and that's where it belongs. You shouldn't judge this movie for more than it is.
I wanted to scream, quietly whisper, "nope, nope, nope" and squeeze the husbands arm. Annabelle delievered. Five stars, not because it was Citizen Kane, but because tonight I'll be sleeping with a nightlight.
