I was actually not impressed. The conjuring was better, by better I mean scarier. I like a good sci fi-horror and this one kind of dropped the ball for me. Now don't get me wrong the movie wasn't bad, it was scary to the meek and mild I'm sure, but I'm a seasoned vet of horror and personally I've been more moved by other movies.
