Review of Annabelle (2014) by Seraphina R — 08 Nov 2014
I'm not much one for scary movies. Just putting that out there. That being said, this movie met my expectation of being spooky but not scaring the living bejesus out of me.
Storyline follows a married couple who is pregnant, the wife preparing the baby's room. She apparently also collects dolls, because her husband buys her the one doll missing from her collection - Annabelle.
Shortly after, their house is attacked by crazed psycho people running around town trying to slaughter people. They were part of a cult, and left a weird symbol on the wall. A crazed woman dies holding the doll on her arms. After the incident the wife tells her husband to get rid of the doll, so he throws it away.
They move, have the baby and are busy trying to settle into a new place and forget what just occurred. But soon the wife realizes that they are beig haunted by something - and it seems to come after her and wants her baby!! Will they survive or will the spirit take over?!
