Review of Anna Karenina (2012) by Dimitar A — 21 Mar 2013

Despite the irresistible presence of Keira Knightley this movie did not bring the story to me completely.The drama and pain did not reach me. Constantly changing decors were distracting and sometimes difficult to understand.

I understand they allowed to congest the contend and provided transition but the spirit of Russia from that time was lost.The choice of actor for count Vronsky character was not bad but yet not quite convincing.

I was waiting for this adaptation for long time but it did not work for me.
