Review of Anna Karenina (2012) by Meredith W — 23 Mar 2013
This could have been a success. The costumes and lovely and the cinematography strangely intriguing in the way it is presented as a stage production, choreographed like a musical. Aside for Jude Law, it is miscast and poorly acted.
Anna is too petulant to empathise with and Kiera is too skinny to be Russian aristocracy.
