Review of Anna Karenina (2012) by Dan R — 25 Mar 2013
I'd call it an interesting failure. It's beautiful to look at, no doubt, but has very little substance. It feels a bit like an extended Chanel commercial. It is only when Jude Law's character is on screen that the movie has any heart.
His performance is the best thing about the movie. Hopefully he is done with all of his clever cad roles.
