Review of Anna Karenina (2012) by Thomas A — 05 Jul 2013
"Anna Karenina" is a visually-striking film with a lot of artistic scenes. Overall, somehow I feel exhausted with the excessive emphasis on the use of stage imagery from the beginning till the end.
..which is sort of like a musical film sans the vocal music. Nonetheless, Keira Knightley's dramatically-emotional acting coupled with Jude Law's charisma makes this film, as a whole, a satisfying one.
