Review of Anna Karenina (2012) by Timothy J — 19 Jul 2013
Stylish and lush, this adaptation of Tolstoy's tome moves right along until the final half-hour. Then it bogs down. Knightley plays the tragic heroine to a tee. Others support ably. Recommended but it's based on a Russian novel, so don't expect anything upbeat.
