It's the tale of boy loves girl, girl loves other boy, other boy loves girl he can't have, girl he can't have's guy doesn't like other boy. It's a classic Russian story that when you break it down sounds like a teen drama.
The film's style was very unique. I really only wanted to watch it because Joe Wright is directing an upcoming Peter Pan film with Hugh Jackman. Knightley seems to be doing more main-stream films lately, but I hope she continues to do these classic pieces. Save yourself the time though and just re-watch Atonement instead.
