Review of Anna Karenina (2012) by Erica M — 30 Aug 2013

The only reason this got 3 stars from me is because the costume & set design were amazing. The acting was fine, but the choppy style of the movie being set on a "stage" was a horrible detriment to the telling of classic story and frankly, just muddled everything.

I did NOT enjoy my viewing experience. Fortnately I have read the book several times , but I think that for a person who is not familiar with the storyline this would be a hot mess/ bore of a film.
