Review of Animal Kingdom (2010) by Adoobi S — 10 May 2011
If it wasn't for the Australian accents you could be mistaken for thinking this was a British film, as it certainly has all the underpinnings of one. Its pace is steady and undramatic but the harrowing reality of the screenplay is exemplary as it drags the audience through its gritty world. Some fantastic performances from the cast round off what is bound to become an Australian cult classic, and deservedly so.
A highly recommended watch.
